Submission Checklist
Don’t forget that submissions are due on July 21st by 5:00 p.m. PT (Find out what time that is in your city.) .
If you haven't created a draft yet, please do so now. And if you've just joined us recently, we encourage you to explore the Resource tab for code samples, ideas, and even a how-to webinar.
Submission checklist
Before you say "ship it!", here are some reminders to help you make sure everything is in order.
- Have you explained how your app or game shows one thing on the phone screen and something different on the connected display? This needs to be clear in both the submission and in the video.
- Have you created a submission video? Does your video clearly demonstrate how your app works? Is it 2-3 minutes long? (See the previous Update for tips on how to make a great submission video)
- Is your app or game available to download on a public app store such as Google Play?
- Have you included at least one or more screenshots of your app?
- Are you prepared to blast out the public voting information to all of your followers? Dont' forget, The 5 submissions with the most public votes will each receive $1,000!
Since there are so many details to take care of, be sure to read through the official rules more than once. Or better yet, have a friend or colleague provide a second pair of eyes to make sure you didn’t miss anything.
